Complimentary 30 minute Prospect Consultation

No charge

Complimentary 30 minute overview meeting for prospective clients to learn the Marrs philosophy and overall process.

9th Grade Consultation

$400*

(90 min) Consultation to discuss Academic course selection for the four years in high school and begin the discussion of a strategic plan.

10th Grade Consultation

$450*

(90 min) Begin the serious pursuit of the Strategic Plan. Comprehensive review of what student must be doing in high school to stand out for colleges. 

11th Grade Consultation

$475*

(90 min) Consultation to access where the student is and what the student needs to do to be prepared for the college selection and application process. 

12th Grade Consultation

(90 min) Initial Meeting.

Graduate School Consultation

The Graduate School Consultation objective is to assess the student’s academic history, goals and objectives in order to create the best path for a successful application.

*Please book at least 48 hours in advance to allow time to complete questionnaires.

 

Packages

 

Hourly (Seniors only) Available after September 1st: 10 Hours ($4000)

Can be used for any aspect of the college planning process the senior needs: college selection, resume and essay writing, applications, interviewing, etc.

9th Grade ($1500 / 10th $1500 / 11th $2000 / 12th $2000)

Annual agreement to assist student in all aspects of academics, extracurricular activities and summer plans. Begin the Strategic College Plan to position student for the rest of high school and the college selection/application process. Includes 6 virtual meetings or 3 in-person meetings, plus 3 hours research time. Can be renewed for 10th grade. 

10th Grade ($1500 / 11th $2500 / 12th $2500)

Annual agreement to assist student with academic needs, extracurricular activities, and summer plans – all with the focus on the student’s Strategic College Plan. Introduction of shadowing and community service for purposes of depth building. Includes 6 virtual meetings or 4 in-person meetings, plus 4 hours research time. Can be renewed for 11th grade.

11th Grade ($3000 / 12th $4000)

This is the most critical year for college planning. Begin by focusing on the resume and creating prospective college list. Student conducts research and simultaneously writes the “why” essays, with the goal of having all “why” essays completed before junior year ends. Determine testing schedule and final college list by May of junior year. Teach student how to tour schools as well as interview. Includes MCAA software, monthly meetings through May and 5 hours research time. Can be renewed for 12th grade.

12th Grade ($7000)

Essay writing begins in June before senior year. When student signs on as a senior, every step of the MCAA process is followed but very rapidly. Researching and finalizing the list occur at the same time as writing the resume, applying to colleges  and all essays. Goal is to have all college applications submitted by early November so merit aid application essays can be written in time for the deadlines.Includes MCAA software access, up to 15 meetings-some virtual and some in-person, as well as 5 hours research time. 

Career Planning/Latitudes Assessment

Discuss the You Science/Latitudes Assessment results, as well as develop a plan to research majors and identify the careers that match.

Personal Statement Brainstorming for Grad/Law School

$700

Session dedicated to helping organize and brainstorm personal statement for graduate or law school applications.
