8,821 undergraduate, graduate and professional students of a variety of ages come to Creighton from near and far. They are committed to academic excellence; in fact, the academic profile of our incoming freshmen represents one of the strongest among all U.S. Catholic universities. Creighton’s mascot has been the blue jay since 1924, and we’ve been part of the BIG EAST conference since 2013. Our student-athletes excel on the field, the court, the classroom and in community outreach.
